Women's & Men's Health Services: Specializing in women's and men's health. Health care services include annual check-ups, pap smears, STD testing and treatment, pregnancy testing, HIV testing, birth control, cough, cold and sore throat, ear infections, immunizations (Hep B, Tdap, Meningitis, Gardasil), emergency contraception (plan b morning after pill), cholesterol testing, diabetes testing, and free condoms always available. Corpus Christi Pregnancy Center:  provides women's health care services such as pregnancy tests, limited ultrasounds, pregnancy resource guides, and free parenting classes. Coastal Bend Wellness Foundation: provides health care services on a sliding fee scale. Services include adult health care, youth education, women's health programs, HIV/Aids care, behavioral health services, sexual health and testing, LGBT health.

Nueces County Aid Program

The Nueces County Indigent Program provides health care assistance for Nueces County residents who do not qualify for any other state or federal medical assistance programs. Applicants must meet residency, income and resource eligibility criteria.

Dental Care

William Allen Dental Clinic

Provides dental cleaning, X-rays, extractions, and fillings. Services are provided by   volunteer dental professionals. Patients are chosen based on trauma level. Drug screen mandatory if chosen for treatment.

The Behavioral Health Center of Nueces County is the county's local mental health authority. Behavioral Health Center of Nueces County is dedicated to helping the residents of Nueces County who struggle with mental illness and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities. Peer-to-Peer Support Group Meetings: The Counseling and Training Clinic at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi is facilitating free and confidential support for the military, including active duty, reserves, guard, and veterans. The group is designed to help participants who suffer from the effects of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), traumatic brain injury (TBI), sexual assault, and traumatic experiences.  The group will meet weekly, on Tuesday evenings, from 6-7 p.m. in room 2014 of the Natural Resource Center. To join, call Dr. Yvonne Castillo at ext. 3995. You do not have to be a student in order to access these FREE services.
